Our Story

Akhila Karnataka Kotari Welfare Association® Bangalore since 2010

We would be delighted to have you and your family join us for a day of warmth and togetherness at the "KUTUMBA MILANA" and the inauguration of our website www.akkwa.in by Sri Padmanabha Kottary, ex-MLA Vittla constituency. The event is on December 14^th 2025

Unity brings strength, and when many hands come together, a powerful organisation is born. With the vision of bringing our fellow citizens in Bengaluru together, a dedicated team was formed under the leadership of Shri Narayan Kotari and launched a grand programme called “KUTUMBA MILANA” in 2010 under the chairmanship of Shri Jayaram Kottary. Building on this foundation, our proud organisation, Akhila Karnataka Kotari Welfare Association ® Bengaluru, was officially established in 2012 under the chairmanship of Shri Rama Kotari.

Our Heritage

The family that once served as treasurers under the Jain rulers of Akhand Bharat has grown into a vibrant and widespread community. While the community continues to uphold Jain traditions in North India, it has also preserved the Bunta heritage in South Karnataka through the Kotari lineage, sustaining its identity across regions and generations.

Rooted in values of trust, integrity, and commitment, the community has flourished alongside the coastal culture, receiving guidance and blessings from various district-level associations. With the noble vision of fostering comprehensive development—political, social, educational, religious, cultural, and athletic—the Akhila Karnataka Kotari Welfare Association was established. Its purpose is to unite and strengthen the community while promoting progress in all spheres of life.
